PROGRAMS

JUMPSTART
Our Jumpstart program is tailored to increase the quality of life of the people we serve by providing individualized opportunities. These opportunities enable individuals to become more independent, advocate for themselves and others, and enjoy more significant involvement in the communities in which they belong. Our dedication to inclusiveness ensures that any individual we serve will be given the best guidance and services our day program can provide.

LIFESTYLE PRIORITIES
Part of becoming independent is practicing good health and hygiene. The Lifestyle programs vary, but aim at a common goal: independence. They will learn the importance of money management, identifying costs, healthy diets, proper hygiene care, and learning how to use public transportation. Thats just a few of our individual programs within our Lifestyle Priorities Program. We believe we have the tools and ability to help an individual achieve independence.

CULINARY ARTS PROGRAM
Food is essential to life. That's why we team up local non-profit organizations to give our clients hands-on training in the prearation and processing of food, whether it be at the food bank or the kitchen. Our Culinary Arts Program is designed to empower individuals through inclusive, hands-on instruction and community-based support. It emphasizes skill development, personal independence, and workforce readiness through structured training experiences and is open to everyone.

THE ARTIST'S DECK
Expression is important. That's why we go into the community to practice art, whether it is engaging in workshops or painting at the park, that help bring out the creative and artistic side of each individual. Through this practice, they will learn how to creatively express thoughts and feelings therapeutically. We engage our clients in multiple practices in order to identify what is the most effective way for each individual to channel their creative abilities.

EMPLOYMENT FIRST PROGRAM
Our Vocational Training and Employment First Programs places individuals in volunteer jobs based on their skills. Referrals for job development, job placement, and job coaching may include once an individual met the criteria to move up to a higher level of internship or possible paying jobs.
