We are seeking a dependable, patient, creative, and motivated Training Supervisor / Job Coach to work with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in a community-based setting.
What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for someone who understands that a Job Coach does more than supervise. The position requires actively teaching, coaching, modeling, encouraging, and creating opportunities for individuals to practice skills that increase independence and meaningful community participation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.
Experience with behavior management, vocational training, job coaching, or community-based services is a plus.
Ability to provide clear instructions and demonstrate skills using hands-on teaching.
Must be willing to work in various community locations rather than primarily in a traditional classroom setting.
Must be willing to complete required orientation and ongoing training.
Training is available for qualified candidates. Experience is a plus.
